We’re all set to witness the first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup (WC). England are all set to play against New Zealand in another ICC trophy knockout. All hell broke lose when the these two teams last met in a knockout match. However, this takes promises to be as good as their previous encounters owing to the stakes. Both of them would look to process to the finals. The winner takes all and the loser has to go home despite being just two steps closer to the finals. Both of them have been superb in this tournament so far. The Brits as well as the Kiwis have lost just the one game as of now. While England would look to forget their previous match where they lost to the Proteas, the Kiwis would want to avenge the wounds of the 2019 ODI WC final.
Match: England vs New Zealand, 1st Semi-Final, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021
Date & Time: 10th November 2021, 7:30 PM
Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi has got better to bat. It isn’t as spin-friendly as what it was during the initial days of the tournament. However having said that, it still gets tricky during the middle overs and spinners do have a bit of assistance. One can expect a fair contest between bat and ball.
The Kiwis have won their last 4 game and this, wouldn’t want to change a winning combination.
