India’s new jersey unveiled ahead of T20 WC

Over the years, Indian have always had an attractive
jersey. Be it in the 90’s or in the 2000’s or even in the 2010’s. A good jersey has always had a lot of admirers. Ahead of the much awaited T20 World Cup (WC) in the UAE, India unveiled their new jersey. It contains the BYJU’s logi in the centre as well.

India’s official kit sponsor MPL Sports announced that they will reveal the team’s new jersey on October 13, 2021 (Wednesday). MPL have been the side’s kit sponsor since November 2020 and had recently introduced the retro-kit (1992 World Cup-themed) which India have been donning for ODIs and T20Is.
The BCCI had tweeted saying, “The moment we’ve all been waiting for! Join us for the big reveal on 13th October only on @mpl_sport. Are you excited?”. MPL tweeted saying “This isn’t just a Team, they are the pride of India. This isn’t just a jersey, it is the blessing of a billion fans. Get ready to cheer for Team India & #ShowYourGame,” the tweet read.

The T20 WC is all set to commence on October 17. Many teams have already landed in the middle east and would be rearing to get on the field. India however have their warm-up matches before their first match against their rivals Pakistan. India are all set to take on Pakistan on October 24.
