IPL 2021: PBKS vs SRH Match Preview
As we’re having a doubleheader today, the second game is all set to feature the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS). However, both the teams haven’t really been at their best. While Williamson’s men just can’t seem to get the right combination, Punjab, unfortunately, lost from a winning position last time around. One loss and either of them could be one step closer to elimination. In a battle for survival, only the fittest among the two will thrive!
Date and Time: September 25, 2021
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah
Sharjah has been famous for its high-scoring games. One could ideally expect a run-fest but after watching yesterday’s match, expect a little dampness in the wicket. Unlike the general instance at Sharjah, the spinners will get some turn today. Batters will ideally target the shorter square boundaries, something that bowlers will be wary of at the venue. Both teams will want to chase upon winning the toss, with dew expected to play a part in the second innings of the game.

Punjab Kings have to do a lot of thinking. While their team looks good on paper, the lack of role clarity is pretty evident. Bishnoi makes a strong case to return to the playing XI and one shouldn’t be surprised if the Universe Boss Chris Gayle comes back to the XI.
Punjab Kings Predicted Playing XI:
KL Rahul (c & wk), Mayank Agarwal, Aiden Markram/Chris Gayle, Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran, Shahrukh Khan, Fabian Allen, Ravi Bishnoi Mohammed Shami, Ishan Porel/Chris Jordan, and Arshdeep Singh
The SRH hasn’t seemed to have got anything right in this ipl 2021. Things have been as worse as possible for them. However, there’s a huge likelihood of watching Jason Roy in the XI. Nabi might make his way back as well.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Predicted Playing XI:
David Warner/Jason Roy, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Kane Williamson (c), Manish Pandey, Abdul Samad, Kedhar Jadhav, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, and Sandeep Sharma
