The break seems to have been a blessing in disguise for the Punjab franchise as their regular skipper KL Rahul is back. Their two expensive buys in the auction namely Richardson and Meredith won’t be available in the second phase and thus, a lot will depend on their Indian pacers. With Adil Rashid in the house, he is expected to be their 4th overseas player. However, the batting more or less remains the same.
Punjab Kings Predicted Playing XI:
KL Rahul (c/wk), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran, Shahrukh Khan, Harpreet Brar, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Mohammad Shami, and Arshdeep Singh.

The bowlers would include the likes of Unadkat, Morris, Shamsi, Sakariya. They have plenty of all-rounders as well
