KKR vs RCB, IPL 2021, Match 31
Date and Time: 20th September 2021, 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Kolkata Knight Riders:
This is now a do-or-die encounter for Morgan’s men. As they were languishing at the bottom of the table in the first phase of IPL 2021, they have to be at their best in the second. They now have mo room for errors and one silly mistake and they could be in their endgame for this season. A lot will depend on Gill and Rana. After a rather dismal first half, Morgan and DK will be expected to deliver. Pat Cummins, their best player from the first phase of IPL 2021 isn’t going to be available this time around, and thus, Ferguson will have to replace him.
Kolkata Knight Riders Predicted Playing XI:
Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan (c), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Andre Russell, Shakib al Hasan, Varun Chakravarthy, Prasidh Krishna, Lockie Ferguson, and Sandeep Warrier
Royal Challengers Bangalore:
Just a day before their game, their captain Virat Kohli announced that this was going to be his final season as a captain for the franchise. Thus, fans of the team would hope that this one last dance is truly worth remembering. RCB was superb in the first phase of IPL 2021 and doesn’t really need to change anything. Washington Sundar’s loss is going to be big but nevertheless, their bench strength is relatively strong. Kohli would be tempted to give either Tim David or Wanidu Hasaranga ago as they’ve been in superb form. Saint is another Indian pacer who can be tried.
Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted Playing XI:
Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers (WK), Glenn Maxwell, Rajat Patidar, Wanindu Hasaranga/Tim David, Shahbaz Ahmed, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammad Siraj, and Yuzvendra Chahal
